Subliminal Childhood Memories Walkthrough

TV portals, shadow-path hallway, candle puzzle, and Ending 2. The Figure mirrors instead of chasing.

📋 Objectives

  1. 1. Find and activate all 3 TV screens in the main play area to unlock the memory fragments
  2. 2. Complete Memory Fragment 1: the birthday party room (solve the candle-light puzzle)
  3. 3. Complete Memory Fragment 2: the school hallway (navigate using only shadow paths)
  4. 4. Complete Memory Fragment 3: the backyard at night (final confrontation setup)
  5. 5. Return to the central play area and approach the figure for the true ending

🗺️ Fragments Summary

Fragment 1 — Birthday: 5/7 candles via shadow; compartment for Portrait Found and lore note.

Fragment 2 — Hallway: light behind you on the floor; move only inside your shadow to the exit.

Fragment 3 — Backyard: fence dates (lore note 4); exit through gate sequence.

Ending 2: after all TVs, walk toward The Figure calmly (~3m) for the cutscene and credits.

💡 Tips

▸ The TV portal mechanic requires light to be aimed at the screen's center for 3 continuous seconds. If you move the light during activation, the timer resets.
▸ Memory Fragment 2 (school hallway) is the hardest section. The rule is: ONLY walk where your shadow falls on the floor. If you step off your own shadow's path, the hallway resets. Use a single light source positioned behind you.
▸ The candle-light puzzle in Fragment 1 requires matching the light intensity on the cake to a reference photo on the wall. Position the light fixture at the exact height of the cake — too high or too low and the sensor rejects the input.
▸ The entity in this chapter does not chase you in the traditional sense. It mirrors your movements — when you move toward a door it moves toward you. To pass, you must turn your back to it and walk backward through the door.
